Carnegie

Team Awesome

Poster outside of Carnegie (oo-la-la top right!)

This past Sunday (mother's day) was my debut performance at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall. I was so lucky to have my family and friends fly in from California and Texas. The performance itself went really well- Solange, Celine and I were "a finely balanced vocal trio".  Everyone did such a great job that day- I was so honored to be a part of such a talented group of people.

Fearless Leader

Meet Judd; composer extraordinaire. We are debuting his piece this Sunday, May 10, in Zankel Hall (Carnegie Hall). This past week has been insane and exhausting with hours of rehearsal every day, but I have no doubt it will all be worth it. The piece is Vayomer Shlomo (And Solomon Said) written for 2 sopranos, 1 mezzo, and small chamber ensemble. It's wonderfully rhythmic and exciting and I can't wait to perform it.

And thanks, Judd, for putting up with all of my wrong notes and missed entrances... I really appreciate it.

GOOOOOOOO Team Awesome!!!
